Product Name Champion 501, labeled on the barrel, this is a post WWII pen from England.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in England -- Late 1940s to early 1950s.
Length 5-5/16".
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black with gold plated trim and a narrow cap bands.
Nib SEMI-FLEXIBLE MEDIUM Waterman's Ideal 14k nib is quite large. It's smooth with nice tipping material. It's flexible, with line variation from a narrow medium to a broad. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Superior condition with some light plating wear on the cap bands and clip. The imprint is very clear on the barrel and there are few microscratches. The cap band protrudes from the cap a bit and there is a mark on the cap lip. There are cap marks on the barrel. The pen has enough handwear but does not look worn. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, personalization.
