Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen.
Product Name Commando (it's marked on the barrel). This model was one step down in size from the standard Hundred Year Pen, and otherwise quite similar to the later Hundred Year Pens.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in USA -- early 1940's.
Length 5-1/8".
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black with gold plated trim and two thin cap bands.

Condition Excellent condition for this is a velvety black, shiny, nice-sized pen. The cap and barrel have moderate wear. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip, a few deeper marks at the end of the barrel. The cap has two small chips on either side of the top of the clip where it attaches to the top disk. The top disk has plating wear and pitting. The lever has pitting along the sides and lots of microscratching. The two thin cap bands have some plating wear and light microscratching. The clip has a few scratches and nicks, clearly visible in the photos. The imprints are nice and clear.
