Product Description
Type Lever fill fountain pen.
Product Name "Crusader"
Manufacturer and Year Waterman USA - late 1940s
Length 5-5/16"
Filling System Lever filling system, fully restored.
Color Black with a satin gold-colored cap with widely spaced grooved rings.
Nib FINE -- 14k nib with nice flex. (Some Crusaders had open nibs, and some have the semi-hooded Taperite nib. This is one of the open nibbed versions.)
Condition Excellent condition, with some small spots in the matte gold finish of the cap, as well as a small nick in the upper cap. There's some handwear and light scratching on the body of the pen. The cap feels a little bit loose when it's on, which is typical of these 1940s Watermans with the clutch ring, but it secures the cap well. The chrome trim is in good condition. The imprint is good. The pen writes very well.
