Product Name Crusader
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in USA -- late 1940s or earlier '50s.
Length 5-1/4 inches.
Filling System Lever filling system. We've fully restored it with a new lever and it's working very well..
Color Black with the anodized gold colored Crusader stainless steel cap and chrome plated trim.
Nib FLEXIBLE FINE Waterman's Ideal 14k gold open nib is smooth with excellent tipping material. It's close to what we would call fully flexible, with easy line variation from a fine to a nice thick broad under very light pressure, and to a nice double broad with a bit more weight. See our writing sample below.
Condition User grade condition due to cap wear. There are a few smaller dents and dings on the cap, and spots where the gold anodized finish on the cap has been scratched off. There's some light plating wear on the lever, but generally the chrome plating on the trim is in good condition. Scratching and handwear is evident on the barrel, but the imprint is still very clear. No cracks, chips, or personalization. The pen has been fully restored and it is working very well.
