Nib FLEXIBLE STUB Waterman's Ideal 14k gold open nib is smooth with excellent tipping material. Easy line variation from a fine/medium stub to a nice thick broad under very light pressure, and to a nice double broad with a bit more weight. See our writing sample below. Note: there is a small mark at the base of the nib, where it fits into the section. We have removed the nib and carefully examined both sides, and this is a surface scratch; it does NOT go through the nib.
Condition Excellent condition. The cap looks great, with some microscratching, no dents or dings, and no chips in the gold anodized finish. There's some brassing on the top tassie, but the rest of the chrome plating on the trim is in good condition. Scratching and handwear on the barrel, but the imprint is still very clear. No personalization. Fully restored and working well.
