Product Description
Type Fountain Pen
Product Name Edson
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, France -- Early 2000s, we can confirm that it was still being made in 2005.
Length 6-1/8" - large, fat and very heavy, this was the top of the line model for Waterman for a number of years.
Filling System Takes Waterman cartridges or converters, and a converter is installed. The original green Waterman converter is installed. Beneath the paperwork in the box are two packs of ink cartridges. The ink isn't that dried out in the cartridges. The two colors are Florida Blue, now called Serenity Blue, and Black, now called Intense Black.
Color Emerald Green with gold-plated trim. The blue is green and looks like it glows from the semi-transparent nature of the green with the dark barrel beneath it. The bulk of the gold plated cap has a matte brushed finish.
Nib Medium 18k nib is stamped "M" on section. It's an interestingly shaped nib that looks large from the section trim but isn't actually oversized.
Condition Near Mint condition. It does have some usage signs so we can't call it mint. There's was some residue on the section trim that you can see in the photo, but it came off after it was photographed. The trim looks very good and the imprints are clear. In original Waterman packaging, includes blue case with white outer cardboard box, warranty booklet, and ink cartridges. The blue case shows the usual wear and is shedding blue and white material.
