Product Description
Type Fountain Pen
Product Name Edson
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, France -- Early 2000s, we can confirm that it was still being made in 2005.
Length 6" - large, fat and very heavy, this was the top of the line model for Waterman for a number of years.
Filling System Takes Waterman cartridges or converters, and a converter is installed. Please note that it is the original blue Waterman converter that was a special inclusion with this pen.
Color Sapphire Blue with gold-plated trim. The blue is deep and looks like it glows from the semi-transparent nature of the blue with the dark barrel beneath it. The bulk of the gold plated cap has a matte brushed finish.
Nib 18k broad nib ("L" stamped on section). The tip looks almost like it has a cut to it, but it is a broad nib. The L on the section was used to designate broad for a bit in the 90s and early 2000s.
Condition Excellent condition. The pen has handwear and a small rough area at the top of the barrel, photographed below. There are no major scratches, cracks or dents. The imprints are clear. It ships in Waterman box, but it's not the original Edson box (we can proviode one of those, but be warned, they are very messy because the blue surface always starts to decay and flake off).
