Product Description
Type Ballpoint pen
Product Name Executive Silver Fluted. This was close to the Gentleman in quality but not the actual top of the line. MSRP would have been about $150 in the 1980s.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, France -- 1976-89, this is approximate but it started after the Gentleman and ended before it too.
Length 5-1/2".
Filling System Takes Waterman-style ballpoint refills. A working black Waterman refill is installed.
Color Silver plated with gold plated trim. It has a fluted or striped pattern that runs through the section and the end pieces. Waterman called this pattern godron in the Le Man series. It has is not the sterling version as identified by the lack of hallmarks.
Condition Very nice condition. There are some scratches on the clip, a tiny scuff mark on the cone, and a tiny dent on the barrel above the cone. Towards the top of the pen, there are a few pitting marks in the silver and some dents on the gold plating. The cap band has some light brassing and there is a smattering of pitting marks elsewhere. The pen looks very sharo in hand, but you do notice the imperfections upon very close inspection.
