Product Description
Type Cartridge/converter filling fountain pen.
Product Name Executive Lacquer. This was close to the Gentleman in quality but not the actual top of the line. MSRP would have been about $110 in the 1980s.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in France -- 1976-89, this is approximate but it started after the Gentleman and ended before it too.
Length 5-1/2".
Filling System Takes international style refills, but most of them are too fat to fit in the barrel. Waterman branded refills are thinner and do fit but the long cartridges are too long. Waterman converters do fit and one is installed.
Color Brown Marble lacquer is a reddish brown color with darker tones. It has gold plated trim.
Nib MEDIUM 18k nib is smooth and just a bit springy with nice tipping material. The feed is marked, "M."
Condition Superior Condition. There's a little bit of wear on the clip. Most of what shows in the photograph was sticker residue that has since been removed but there are a few marks on the clip and cap band. The lacquer has some handwear.
