Product Description
Type Fountain pen from the late 1950s
Product Name We're not quite sure, this is a mystery model for us.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, late 1950s. There are no markings whatsoever to indicate where it was made, however the instructions on the filling system are in English.
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System This pen uses an aerometric system. You unscrew the barrel -- and it takes many rotations, because there's a screw in the end of the barrel which the end of the filling system attaches to -- which exposes the aerometric filler. We have tested it and it's working very well.
Be careful not to lose the gold ring that fits between the barrel and the section. It is not secured by anything.
Color Blue barrel and section. Gold plated lined cap and clip, and gold-plated finials on both ends.
Nib FINE 14k gold nib (Hooded taperite nib.).
Condition Superior condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a nice-sized and weighted pen in a great color combination and with lots of shine. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and otherwise only light signs of usage. The cap is very beautiful. It has light microscratching and some plating wear along the lip. The clip is excellent. The finials at the top of the cap and end of the barrel have microscratching and there is a tiny little dent on the barrel end piece. The imprints are clear.
