Color Designed and colored to resemble parchment with French inscriptions of the Decree of the National Assembly in burgundy. Includes three flying birds presumably signifying Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity. Three burgundy raised cap bands, with two of these bands on top of the cap and two at the end of the barrel.
Nib Medium gold plated nib. Marked M.
Condition Excellent + with no cracks, chips, dents or dings. This is a unique commemorative pen with all the writings and tributes perfectly intact. There are some marks on either side of the top of the clip, but this could just be a feature of the material used to make the pen. The clip has some light scratching and a little bit of wear near the end. The Waterman imprints are clear (at the end of the barrel and top of the cap).
