Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen in working condition, lever filler, hard to find.
Product Name Waterman Hundred Year Pen (marked on the nib)
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA, 1942. This is the 3rd year version as far as we can tell.
Length Full size 5-1/8" -- very fat body
Filling System Lever filler. We've installed a new sac in the pen and the filling system works well.
Color Very dark burgundy ribbed barrel and cap, with yellowy-clear cap-top and barrel end. Gold plated trim. Made of celluloid.
Nib Huge gold Waterman Hundred Year Pen nib. Medium "RIGID".
Condition Excellent working condition. Some light scratches on the body and trim, mostly light plating wear except on the cap band, where the wear is more pronounced. The clear celluloid on the top of the cap shows typical discoloration. We do recommend caution when using the clip as this area can be prone to cracking. The transparent barrel end has no doubt been replaced (not by us). There are some light scratches on the barrel end, and a scratch on the adjacent dark portion. The imprint is partly worn and hard to read. It is restored, ready to write, and guaranteed for one year.
