Type Vintage fountain pen in working condition, lever filler. Screw-on style cap.
Product Name Hundred Year Pen, this is the late version that looks nearly identical to its successor the Emblem.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA -- 1940s, this version is dated as coming out around 1941.
Length 5-1/4" and very fat.
Filling System Lever filler. We've replaced the bladder in the pen and the filling system works well.
Color Solid black with rounded ends. It has gold plated trim including a 3/16" cap band.
Nib Flexible Medium Waterman's Hundred Year Pen nib. It is a smooth writer and offers strong line variation. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. The clip is a bit loose and the cap band is protruding. There is some plating wear but not enough to really draw the eye. The pen has capping and posting marks in addition to a few marks on the cap. The cap imprint is clear.
