Product Description
Type Fountain Pen
Product Name We are not quite sure, this is a mystery model for us. We've seen it described as a late Ideal model.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, England -- 1950s.
Length 5-1/2"
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filling system is permanently installed in the pen. Tested and working well.
Color Burgundy barrel and section, with a shiny silver cap.
Nib MEDIUM nib that looks similar to the Waterman Taperite nibs, though it is less hooded and closer to an open nib.
Condition Very nice condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. The top of the cap is angled and we suspect that there was a disc on there that's now missing. The section has marks from capping. The clutch ring has some plating wear on the bottom edge, but still holds the cap firmly in place. The barrel has scratching and handwear, and some lengthwise scratches towards the end from posting the cap. The cap has scratching all over. The clip has some flaking and dots of plating wear. The imprint on the cap lip are slightly smoothed down, but still readable.
