Color Transparent yellow with nice barrel clarity. The trim is chrome or nickel plated.
Nib 14k Ideal Canada Nib. Imprinted F.D.W. on the side. Semi-flex.
Condition Excellent with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a nice-sized pen that shows off nicely all its inner-workings through pale transparent yellow. There is one long, thin scratch toward the top of the barrel that runs from the threads to the "D" in "Demonstration". The filling system end of the barrel is a bit murky. The end piece on the barrel looks nice. The cap has moderate scratching and it is ink-stained. The cap band and clip have plating wear and pitting. The stepped piece on top of the cap has some small, deep marks that look like plier toolmarks. The imprints are clear.
