Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen in working condition, lever filler.
Product Name Lady Patricia, the smaller size of the Patrician. The two models used nearly identical materials but had different design elements.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA -- Early 1930s.
Length Small size -- 4-5/16"
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored the filling system, and it's working well.
Color Jet black hard rubber. This is a transitional model between hard rubber and celluloid. It probably has chrome plated trim including a decorated narrow cap band.
Nib FINE FLEXIBLE Waterman Ideal #2 nib. It's got decent tipping material and feels smooth to write with. Line variation from fine to double broad. The tipping gives the appearance of a nib on the wetter side of fine. See the writing sample below.
Condition Very nice condition. The black hard rubber is discolored with the original black section, lighter barrel, and even lighter cap. The trim has wear on the lever and cap band, and there is a lot of flaking and pitting on the clip. The barrel imprint is clear. No dents, chips, cracks, or major scratches.
