Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen in working condition, lever filler.
Product Name Lady Patricia, the smaller size of the Patrician. The two models used nearly identical materials but had different design elements.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA -- Early 1930s.
Length Small size -- 4-5/16"
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored the filling system, and it's working well.
Color "Onyx" color. This is a cream or light caramel color with red veins. The design doesn't match its name at all. 1/8" cap band with a simple etched design. The trim is gold filled. The cap lip, section, and feed are a dark red hard rubber.
Nib EXTRA FINE FLEXIBLE Waterman Ideal #2 nib, almost full flex. It's got decent tipping material and feels smooth to write with. Line variation from extra fine to a wet broad. See the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. The barrel imprint is very clear and the trim looks great. The barrel is discolored thoughout and the cap is partially discolored, very common in this model/color. There are shallow bite marks in the cap and the end of the barrel.
