Product Description
Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen and mechanical pencil set.
Product Name Lady Patricia
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in USA - circa early 1930s.
Length Small size, the pen is 4-5/16", and the pencil is 4-1/4".
Filling System The pen is a lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac. The pencil takes 1.1mm leads, which it extends via the traditional twist mechanism (you twist the cone), and we'll include a small packet of leads. Both pen and pencil are working very well.
Color "Turquoise" pattern. Deep blue with pearly bronze-colored chunks.
Nib FLEXIBLE FINE gold Waterman's Ideal #2 nib is smooth with good tipping material. Please see our writing sample.
Condition Excellent condition. Fountain pen: There is moderate scratching on the cap and barrel surface. The cap has brassing around the edge of the finial and along the sides of the clip. The cap band has brassing and small touches of plating wear on both upper and lower edges. The section looks fantastic. There are marks from capping the pen. The lever has plating wear around the edge of the tab end. The end of the barrel has some heavier scratching. Pencil: Light to moderate scratching. The cap finial and clip have brassing and plating wear around the edges. The center gold-plated band looks quite good. The black hard rubber just above the nose cone has faded to a dark brown. The nose cone has brassing and some plating wear around the tip. No cracks, chips, dings, dents, or personalization. The imprints are all very clear and readable. They're both working very well, and the pen is fully restored.
