Product Description
Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen.
Product Name Lady Patricia.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in USA -- circa late 1920s.
Length Just over 4-1/4 inches.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color The "Onyx" color was originally a light caramel marbled color with red veins, and with brick red section, cap lip, and feed. Over time the body has gotten a little darker, and the cap shows some ink staining to a darker, slightly more green-black color in some spots. Gold plated trim.
Nib FINE Waterman's gold Ideal #2 nib is smooth with lovely tipping. It's fairly flexible, more than what we would call semi-flex, but not full flex. Very nice hairlines, excellent for fast sketching.
Condition Excellent condition except for the above-mentioned discoloration, and some brassing on the edges of the trim. There are some very light scratches and marks on the cap and barrel. No cracks or chips, dings or dents. The imprint is a bit worn, but you can still make most of it out. It's fully restored and working well.
The clip is engraved with the initials M S K (see photos).
