Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. These are beautifully turned dark wood pens with excellent grain and a consistent dark color. The wood has texture and grain that can look like scratch marks. The fountain pen section has some inconsistency in the color especially near the top of the section where it has been stained by ink. The cap and barrel look excellent with just a little leftover glue along the edges of the bands near the end of the barrel. The gold bands and clip have light microscratching. The ballpoint pen looks great with just some light microscratching on the gold bands, cap band, clip, and cone. The imprints on both pieces are clear.
