Type Waterman Le Man 100 fountain and ballpoint pen set
Product Name Le Man 100 "Opera". This was the top of the line for Waterman in the 1980s, a heavy large pen. The Opera model has chasing similar to that found on hard rubber pens.

Filling System The fountain pen takes international cartridges and converters. A Waterman converter is installed in the pen. The ballpoint takes standard Waterman refills. A working refill will be included.
Color Black in a chased design with gold trim. The pattern is similar to herringbone and has a wavy pattern that reflects light for different appearances at different angles. The fountain pen barrel has a serial number 826640 etched on the section. The fountain pen cap has a separate serial number, 46552, etched between the two cap bands.
Nib Fine two-tone 18k nib that says "Ideal Waterman 18k 750 Paris" and is stamped with a globe.
Condition Excellent + in box, with instruction booklet. This is an elegant pen set that is shiny and new looking. Both pieces have excellent caps and barrels with perfectly intact chasing. The top black piece of the fountain pen has a few thin scratch lines. The ballpoint pen cone and top black piece have some small marks and scratches. The trim, cap band, and clips on both pieces have light scratching. All imprints are clear.
