Product Name Le Man 100 "Opera". This was the top of the line for Waterman in the 1980s, a heavy large pen. The Opera model has chasing similar to that found on hard rubber pens. A Le Man 100 can be identified by whether or not the feed is ribbed. A ribbed feed should indicate a Le Man 100.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, France -- this model was introduced in 1983 but the Opera was mostly produced circa 1990.

Filling System Takes Waterman (international) cartridges and converters. A Waterman piston converter is installed.
Color Black in a chased design with gold trim
Nib Fine 18k nib. The feed is labeled F for fine. It writes very smoothly.
