Product Description
Type Waterman Le Man 100 fountain pen
Product Name Le Man 100 "Sterling Godron". This was the top of the line for Waterman in the 1980s, a heavy large pen.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, France -- 1990s, the nib places it post 1989 and the lack of black pieces dates it as an early Sterling Godron.
Length 5-3/4"
Filling System Takes international cartridges and converters. A Waterman converter is installed.
Color Solid sterling silver with 23k plated trim. It has a godron or striped pattern that runs through the section and the end pieces. The cap derby is smooth though.
Nib Medium 18k Waterman Ideal nib looks like it has been cut at the top of the tip but doesn't write with line variation. It might flex a bit more than the usual Waterman Ideal nib. It's very smooth and springy.
Condition Superior condition, near mint, it shows only light use but there are a few marks in the sterling and the imprints on the cap are faded compared to the ones on the barrel. The pen has patina in the ridges that can be polished out. It looks really great in hand. Most of the patina can't be seen with the naked eye.
Includes box, outer sleeve, converter (installed), warranty card, and user booklet.
