Manufacturer and Year Waterman, France -- 1980s. This is the earlier version of the nib; Waterman changed the engraving on it slightly around 1989.

Filling System The fountain pen takes Waterman or international cartridges or converters, with a Waterman converter installed. The ballpoint pen takes standard Waterman ballpoint refills, and the one installed is working.
Color Black with chased pattern, black end pieces and ballpoint cone (topped with gold end piece), gold trim. The fountain pen has a serial number: 34045 and the ballpoint pen has a serial number: 24372 imprinted on the middle black band of the cap band.
Nib FINE 18k two tone nib. The feed is labeled F.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a handsome black pen set with even and intact chasing on both pieces. The fountain pen has a few very light scratch marks on the cap and barrel. The trim bands, cap band, and clip have light to some moderate microscratching. The ballpoint pen has light to moderate scratching on the barrel portion. The cap portion looks great. The gold portion of the cone, the cap band, and the clip and clip band have moderate microscratching. The imprints on both pieces are clear.
