Product Description
Type Vintage pencil.
Product Name Unknown, there isn't good documentation for pencil models but it is too long to be a Model 52 and is just a bit shorter than a Model 56 fountain pen. It probably is either a Model 55 or a Model 56.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in USA -- 1920s.
Length 5-9/16"
Filling System The pencil takes 1.1mm refills and works via the twist mechanism. It doesn't retract the leads (the leads twist out and must be pushed back in, very common in pencils from this era). An eraser can be found beneath the cap and it is fully intact.
Color Red ripple hard rubber with gold filled trim. The cap band is about 1/8" wide.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, serious scratches or personalization. There are a few marks and as mentioned above, the writing system isn't working flawlessly. There is some plating wear on both the cap lip and the clip. The imprint is a bit difficult to read but is completely legible.
