Product Description
Type Vintage pen
Product Name NW2 based off of the nib and cap, but the barrel is labeled L.2. which likely refers to the filling system. A model that looks similar to the CF pens that come a little later.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, England -- 1940s to early 1950s
Length 5-7/16"
Filling System Lever filler (We have replaced the bladder and it works very well.)
Color Black barrel with two thin cap bands touching each other. The trim is gold plated or filled.
Nib The nib is marked 14CT NW2. It is semi-flexible with a lot of tipping material. Unflexed it writes like a fine or extra-fine nib. See the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent Condition. The barrel is in great condition with minimal handwear. There is some brassing throughout but no part stands out. The clip, lever, and cap bands are all firmly in place. The imprint is very crisp and readable. This pen writes very smoothly. This is an interesting pen that probably bridges the gap between several models.
