Color The "Onyx" color is comprised of ivory celluloid with red veins (the "ivory" has mellowed to a gold color and the "red" looks more like burgundy). Red section, feed, cap lip and ends. Gold plated trim. Gold plated trim including a pierced lattice patterned 1/4" wide cap band.
Nib FINE FLEXIBLE Waterman's Ideal Patrician nib. It has very nice hairlines, and fantastic line variation with very little pressure. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. Excellent color, better than we usually see. The cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching. The barrel has horizontal capping lines. The clip has plating wear on the edges, and is personalized with "M c M" (the letter c is much smaller than the Ms). There is brassing on the edges of the cap band. The imprint is clear.
