Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen in excellent working condition, lever filler
Product Name Patrician
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA, late 1920s
Length Full size 5-1/2" (oversize)
Filling System Lever filler. We've put a new silicone bladder in the pen and the filling system works well.
Color The "Turquoise" color is comprised of blue and bronze-brown celluloid. Gold filled trim.
Nib FINE. Huge gold Waterman Patrician nib. The nib is a little flexible, but not full flex. Excellent condition.
Condition Excellent condition, with minor discoloration of the bronze chunks in the barrel, so that they look a little grey. The body and cap are free of cracks and chips. There are some light signs of use, but overall it is very smooth and shiny. There's a little wear on the top of the clip, and the cap band, but otherwise the trim is excellent. Nice deep imprint. With its new sac, it is ready to write.
There is a very subtle curvature of the barrel ... so subtle that sometimes it doesn't seem curved at all. We give you three horizontal shots below so that you can judge for yourself. This was the only thing that we could see that might be considered a flaw, and we have priced the pen accordingly. This is one of the hardest to find Patrician colors.
