Product Description
Type Cartridge/converter filling fountain pen.
Product Name Phileas.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, France -- Late 1990s or early 2000s.
Length 5-3/8".
Filling System Takes international style refills or cartridges. Due to the wider end of the cartridges, it looks like most brands don't fit. An unused long Waterman cartridge will be included.
Color Green Marble. It's a nice stone-like green and black that's semi-transparent where the material is thinner. The green is dark, but it's not as dark as it looks in the photos. It has black accent pieces, including the section, and gold colored trim.
Nib FINE two tone Waterman Paris steel nib marked F. It's smooth and firm. The bottom of the nib above the collar has pitting marks, a very common issue with Waterman steel nibs from this era.
Condition Excellent condition. There's only slight handwear on the pen. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, personalization. The color is lovely, and the pen is working perfectly. There are pitting marks on the nib and some plating wear on the lower cap band.
