Product Description
Type Vintage mechanical pencil
Product Name Red Ripple ... we're not certain which fountain pen went with this pencil, but our best guess is that it is the mate to a ripple 52, 53, or 54 pens which were all more or less the same size. It does have two bands at the top of the cap, so it might go with the Colorband models 5 or 7.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA, 1920s
Length 5-11/16"

Color Red hard rubber in the "Red Ripple" design, with gold plated trim.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a full size, substantial mechanical pencil that works well and that is in a fantastic color pattern. The pencil finish looks excellent. The cap band and the two slim bands at the top of the cap are beautiful and shiny. The clip has a tad of plating wear on the ball but it is shiny looking overall. The cone has some small scratches near the narrow point. The imprint is clear.
