Product Description
Type Vintage mechanical pencil
Product Name Red Ripple ... we're not certain which fountain pen went with this pencil, but it does have two bands at the top of the cap, so it might go with the Colorband models 7.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA, 1920s
Length 5-15/16"
Filling System Takes thick style (1.1mm) leads. Lead extends in the traditional, twist mechenism, but you may have to push it with your finger to make it retract. We'll include a small pack of leads. The lead container is accessed by unscrewing the top piece, which holds the leads.
Color Red hard rubber in the "Red Ripple" design, with gold plated trim.
Condition Very nice condition. This is an oversize, substantial mechanical pencil that works well. There is quite a lot of plating wear on the clip and bands, and dents on the top bans. Some scratches on the end cone. The pen is personalized on the cap: "Max Wetter". There are no cracks, chips, dents or dings. The imprints are clear.
