Product Description
Type High end modern fountain pen
Product Name Serenite
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, France -- circa 2005.
Length 5-5/8"
Filling System Takes international cartridges and converters. A Waterman piston converter is installed. You access the converter by holding the section and twisting the barrel. Once it's unscrewed, you can pull the whole nib unit out of the pen.
Color Black resin with sterling band and accents.
Nib 18k cursive italic nib, rhodium masked. It started as a broad nib, as identified by the L imprint, but was cut for line variation and now writes more like a medium cursive italic than a broad. The nib looks great with only slight masking wear on the tip and is firmly in the middle between stub and italic. See the writing sample below.
Condition Superior, just about near mint condition. The nib looks perfect and the imprints are crisp. There's light handwear on the pen but no scratches, dents, chips, or other damages. In Waterman Serenite box with paperwork and polishing cloth.
