Color Lovely golden brown in a striped marbled pattern. The trim is gold plated. There is a single thin cap band.
Nib Medium nib is marked "Watermans IDEAL Rigid 14k". Despite being called rigid, it does have a smidge of give to it.
Condition Excellent with no cracks or chips. The lever looks pristine and the imprint is very crisp. There is a small smudge like scratch on the cap in line with the point of contact between the clip and the cap. There is also a long scratch on the section that matches up with the threads on the cap and barrel. Some plating wear exists on the very top of the cap and on the cap band. The clip looks good and there are no major markings on the barrel.
