Color Lovely golden brown in a marbled pattern that is vaguely stripey with gold plated trim. Single thin cap band.
Nib FINE SEMI-FLEX 14k nib is marked "Watermans IDEAL." It's smooth with good tipping material. Excellent every day flex.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks or chips. The only plating wear is on the little metal cap jewel that anchors the clip, which is all brassed. Otherwise there's hardly a dot of brassing on the gold trim. Some very light scratches on the cap and lower barrel, but only a few, and generally the whole of the pen is really smooth and shiny looking, with a clear imprint. It's beautiful, and working well after our restoration process.
