Nib EXTRA FINE FULLY FLEXIBLE Waterman's Ideal 14k nib is smooth with great tipping material. It's nicely flexible, with line variation from extra fine to broad with just a light pressure. It's not a wet noodle, it has really good springback and is very responsive. This is the kind nib the Spencerian and Copperplate people are looking for.
Condition The pen is in superior condition, near mint. The pencil has a few gouges on the cap. The color of both is close to perfect. There's some of the tiny cosmetic surface cracks on the very end of the barrel. No chips, dings dents, or personalization, and the only plating wear is a little on the tip of the clip. The imprints are clear. The set is fully restored and working well.
