Product Name Stalwart is the name you see on the larger size of this pen in late 1940s ads, and this smaller size they called the "Starlet."

Filling System Lever-filler. We have replaced the sac and tested the system, and it's working well.
Color Grey striated with pearlization, with gold-plated trim, and one thin cap band. Rounded black section.
Nib FINE flexible 14k nib is marked "Watermans IDEAL 14k". Not a lot of line variation, just extra fine to medium, but it does flex easily. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a shiny, beautifully colored (with many shades of grey as well as pearlescence) vintage fountain pen. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip as well as light scratching. The lever has moderate microscratching. The cap has moderate microscratching especially near the top. The single thin cap band has brassing, plating wear, and moderate microscratching. The clip has some brassing along the edges and light microscratching with some long, thin scratch lines. The top gold disc has brassing, pitting around the edge, and light microscratching. The imprints are clear.
