Product Name Thorobred. (it's stamped on the end of the barrel). Throrobreds also come in a full size pen, but this is the smaller versions.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in USA -- circa late 1930s.

Filling System Lever filler. We've replaced the sac and it's working very well.
Color Lovely shades of grey in a marbled pattern that is vaguely comprised of large cubist blocks, with thin veins of red. Pearlization. The trim is chrome plated, and the pen has a single thin cap band.
Nib FLEXIBLE FINE 14k nib marked "Waterman's Ideal." Sift feeling with nice line variation from fine to broad. See our writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition for this beautifully colored little pen that is pearly, shiny, and unique in its appearance. The main weakness is the trim, which is very worn, especially on the lever and clip. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and light to moderate scratching. The cap has moderate scratching. The top of the cap has some tiny expansion cracks that appear in the hexagonal opening but do not extend beyond it. The imprints are clear.
