Product Description
Type Fountain Pen
Product Name Watermina
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, France, 1974-5
Length 5-11/16"
Filling System Takes international style refills, or you can fill via the included converter. (This pen originally came with a Waterman CF converter, but we have fitted it with a piston converter and it works well with no leaks.)
Color Blue enamel with gold plated trim and black ends and section.
Nib FINE 18k nib is huge, and somewhat flexible. (The photos show the pen with a broad nib, but we have now put a fine nib on the pen.)
Condition User grade condition, only because the enamel is begining to wear and flake off. There are a few smaller spots on the cap where the enamel has chipped off and left the brass below visible (see photos), and a few smaller ones of these spots on the barrel, as well as some strange bumpy texture in the enamel. The gold plated trim is in great condition, with just a tiny bit of wear on the clip. The pen is still looking nice, despite the isues with the enamel finish, and it's working very well. (The price is largely based on the value of the nib.)
