Product Description
Type Vintage combination fountain pen and mechanical pencil restored and working well.
Product Name Unknown
Manufacturer and Year Wearever - circa 1930s or perhaps early 1940s
Length 5-7/16"
Filling System Lever filler. We've replaced it with a new sac and it's working well. The pencil side uses 1.1mm (or "thick") leads, which it extends via the traditional twist mechanism. We'll include a small packet of leads.
Color Black with a gold colored mesh design under the surface of the finish, and gold plated trim.
Nib FINE gold plated nib is marked "Specialalloy." It's smooth and firm, and a little large for a fine.
Condition Very nice condition. There's some lesser scratching in the cap and barrel, and a little fading in the gold design on the barrel where the lever connects to the barrel. Most of the plating has worn away to brassing on the cap band, and the plating is a bit worn from the clip too. The cone has some wear, including many very minor indents that almost look intentional (visible in the last photo below). The clip is bent up at the tip, and does not clip onto things firmly. Both sides of this combo are working well.
