Product Description
Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen. They cut an extra set of slits in the cap for the clip!
Product Name Unknown. It is a full length slender model.
Manufacturer and Year Wearever, made in U.S.A. -- likely circa 1940s
Length 5-1/4" long
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Cream with black veins. The trim is gold plated.
Nib Fine gold-plated nib. No tipping material - the company stamped a dent into the top surface to mimic tipping and provide a rounded surface for writing.
Condition Very nice condition. The cap band and lever have brassing, and the clip has plating wear. There is some ink staining on the inside of the bottom edge of the cap, and on the barrel threads. There are a pair of rectangular holes in the cap, approximately 90 degrees from the clip - it looks like two sets of slits for the clip were made, but there's only one clip. No cracks or chips, no personalization. It's fully restored and working well.
