Product Description
Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen.
Product Name Unknown. There's no marking on the barrel, but the nib is marked.
Manufacturer and Year Welsh Mfg. Co., a third tier maker from Providence, RI -- circa 1930s.
Length 4-11/16".
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Caramel swirl colored body with gold plated trim, with no cap band. Much of the plating has worn off.
Nib FINE steel nib marked "Welsh." It's smooth with just a hint of flex to it.
Condition Very nice condition. There are a few small light marks and scratches on the cap and barrel, as well as some tiny surface cracks on the end of the barrel and top of the cap, which are purely cosmetic and don't affect the way the pen works. The gold plating is almost completely gone from the clip, and slightly worn on the lever. No chips, dings, dents, or personalization. The pen is fully restored and working well.
