Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen.
Product Name Standard
Manufacturer and Year Wm Bolles, Toledo, Ohio, USA, 1920-26

Filling System Special sac with integral pressure bars on either side. Remove the barrel by unscrewing it, dip the nib in ink and apply pressure to the bars to fill the sac. Very similar to later aerometric filling systems. (The pen originally had a hard rubber collar that fit around the sac and held the pressure bars in place, however it was cracked and so we replaced it with a plastic collar.)
Color Mottled Red Hard Rubber (red and black) with black end pieces. No clip or trim.
Nib 14k FLEXIBLE FINE. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a slim, sleek, shiny pen with beautiful color and patterning. The section and barrel have light to moderate scratching. The barrel has a scratch near the imprint. The cap looks excellent. The black end pieces are shiny and new looking. There are worn imprints on the pen.
