Filling System Takes international cartridge and converters. A piston converter is installed.
Color Sterling silver with hand-carved flourishes. It has a black resin section. The cap has a cartouche for personalization and it is modeled after the old pencils that made the brand well known.
Nib Broad Stub 18k Nib. It's two tone and started as broad but was cut for line variation. It's a bit springy and still has lots of tipping material. See the writing sample below.
Condition Superior condition. Very light handwear on the cap and barrel with slightly more handwear on the section. The imprints are clear with one exception. One of the looping flourishes crosses onto the cap band and covers a YOL stamp. There's some wear on the collar beneath the nib. No dings, dents, scratches, or personalization.
The pen ships with a velvet lined wooden box, heavier than average cardboard sleeve, paperwork and a two pen leather pen case. The leather is stiff and the case is essentially brand new.
